During my clinical rotations, I had many different experiences which have stuck with me and aided in my development as a caregiver. In particular, during my senior preceptorship I observed a situation which taught me a lot about the importance of communication and patient education. In this clinical exemplar, I talk about the situation and reflect upon what I learned, what I did to influence the outcome, who I collaborated with, and how a lack of prioritization affected the scenario.
